John Bednar has dedicated his career to advancing healthcare and empowering patients. After earning his Bachelor of Neuroscience degree from John Carroll University, he went on to complete a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania. John has cultivated his clinical skills during his 13 years of experience in Emergency Medicine at Northwest Hospital and the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center. During this time, he served as the head of the Wellness Committee, focusing on enhancing patient care and provider-patient experience, and teaching skill labs to physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff.
Having witnessed the consequences of poor diet and lifestyle choices in the emergency setting, John is proud to be part of the Integrative Medicine team at Crossroads, where he will apply his passion for chronic disease prevention by empowering patients to take charge of their health and make informed decisions which support long term wellness.
In his free time, John enjoys traveling and outdoor activities like camping, gardening, mountain biking and skiing/snowboarding with his wife and two kids.
